Humankind Water Case Study
Community relations is one small but significant part of the entirely of public relations for organizations. This case study analyzes the community relations of a non-profit organization called Humankind Water which exists to combat the world water crisis. This case study includes an analysis of public relations tactics, an interview, a detailed critique, and other topics related to the PR field. This work was chosen to be displayed at Slippery Rock University's Symposium for Student Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activity.

Wendy's Case Study
Many major companies utilize social media campaigns in order to raise awareness of an initiative they have or to draw attention to themselves. Wendy's decided to launch a campaign that would benefit both the company and foster kids. This case study analyzes the social media campaign #Share4Adoption which was a campaign run by Wendy's during the summer of 2015. This study covers how the campaign operated, the success of the initiative, and the overall impact this social media campaign had on Wendy's customers and consumers.

Communication Theory Application
Theories exist to explain the world around us and communication theories exist to understand the patterns, issues, and quirks of the ways we communicate. This research focuses on social information processing theory and how it explains social media communication. This research analyzes a video made by a popular Instagram user named Essena O'Neill and focuses on the pseudo-reality of social media and the way this technology affects our communication with one another.

Elonis v. United States Case Brief
First Amendment rights are among the most upheld rights in the United States. However, when Anthony Elonis was cited for inappropriate Facebook posts, free speech was questioned. Was Elonis within his rights? Were his posts actually true threats according to free speech laws? Although the court ruled in favor of Elonis declaring his speech protected, this case had the potential to shake free speech laws. This case brief analyzes this very significant Supreme Court case.

Social Media & Happiness Research
What could be the relationship between happiness and social media usage between the two sexes? The answer to this would be easy to assume, but it truly takes research to know the answer to this question. This research project uses basic research methods in order to understand the influence of social media on our happiness. This research includes the study of previous research, statistics, and an analysis of the data in order to answer the question posed above.
